CURRENT QUAD SPECS

RACING BACKGROUND   I ran a few MX and Enduro races after getting a Yamaha PW50 at age five, but it wasn't until June of 2003, after finding a website about a local quad racing association, that I became interested in racing quads. I attended a race as a spectator and have been on the track ever since. "It was awesome. I loved it!"  I ran in the beginner class of STQRA and took four TOP 5 finishes the first year, ending up with 7th overall in the points for the season. In 2004, I moved up to Novice class, “Open B,"  taking 5th overall in points for the season. When the 2004 season ended, out of about 20 or so races since starting in 2003, I had 16 trophies. 

After getting my motor worked by Yoshimura, I moved up to the "Open A" class and took FIRST OVERALL at the STQRA Winter Race 12-12-04 in Orange, TX. 

 In addition to the STQRA points series, I've raced a few QUAD WARS during the Monster Jams, the Pro Quad Stadium Race, the MAXXIS 6 Hours of ATV America, and the GP 500 sponsored by Proclean 1000.

Bored to 370cc, FMF Torque Reeds, head milled to raise compression, 110 octane race fuel, open airfilter, carbs rejetted, Full Toomey race exhaust. 

Chassis mods 
 +2.5" wheel spacer in front, .190 douglas front rims w/19/6-10 ITP Holeshot MX's, AC nerfs, AC front bumper, Durablue +4" axle, Renthal fat bars, Motion Pro twist throttle, silver Maier rear fenders, race cut stock front fenders, Douglas beadlocks w/ 18/11-8 ITP Holeshot MX's

GOALS   This season, I’m looking for a TOP 5 OVERALL in the Intermediate class and planning to race at least two GNC Nationals, in addition to various other events, including Quad Wars. In the future, I plan to go National Pro. 

Additional Personal Data
I work at Delorean Motor Cars in Humble, TX, restoring and working on the Deloreans. As for hobbies, aside from riding, racing and work, how has time? To keep in shape for racing I practice as much as possible, plus run and lift weights. Additional sports I like to participate in, or have in the past, include fishing, bow hunting, BMX, MX, knee-boarding, surfing, and just about anything outdoors. My favorite MX tracks are Highlands night track and San Jacinto Cycle Park in Splendora.
